journalist from New York discovers the story of Tenorio Jr., one of the legends of the bossa nova, who disappeared in 1976 while on a tour in Argentina, and decides to delve into the mystery. This animated documentary, which includes interviews with legends such as João Gilberto, Caetano Veloso, and Vinicius de Morae, shows what the artists of the time had to fight in the midst of totalitarian regimes.
The film includes music by João Gilberto, Gilberto Gil, Vinicius de Moraes, Paulo Moura, and others. Some of the musicians also appear in the voice cast of the animation as themselves, testifying about Tenorio's influence on Brazilian music history.
